Janet Mee is the Director of Access and Diversity at the University of British Columbia. This role involves leading her department as it “works with the university to create an inclusive living and learning environment in which all students can thrive.”

She is an acknowledged expert in meeting the expectations of human rights law as it relates to the “duty to accommodate” as well as being a compassionate and stalwart advocate for students who require accommodations. She has a wealth of practical knowledge related to the processes of accommodation and shares these in her presentations in clear and concise ways.

This presentation will be informative for parents and educators of children from pre-school to university.
