Power Up Potential 2018

April 5-7, 2018 at multiple locations in Vancouver, BC. 

A 3-day event for educational leaders, health care & counselling professionals and parents of gifted children, aiming to raise the awareness of the educational and emotional needs of advanced learners. 

The #PUP2018 conference is organised in a joint effort by the Gifted Children's Association of British Columbia and the Lower Mainland Gifted Contacts Group.

Dr. James Webb, Pioneer in Giftedness Research

The Featured Speaker at the conference Power up Potential is Dr. James T. Webb, Ph.D., ABPP-Cl, one of the most influential psychologists in North America on gifted education. In 1981, Dr. Webb established SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted), a national nonprofit organization that provides information, training, conferences, and workshops to parents and educators of gifted children.
